My First Real Sales Job

In my first real career sales job after University, my boss told me “Your job is to go out and kill it, and it’s head office’s job to clean it”.  What he was saying is go out and sell, sell, sell.  Not bad advice but what I needed to know was that after the sale there were two more sales to make … the repeat and referred sales.  These are a sales person’s best sales and they are built on relationship, and winning at the relationship is what this series is all about.
